Nowadays, one of the big words that people like to throw around is “tolerance”. We should be tolerant of all religions, races, sexual orientations, etc. Well, everything except Christianity.
First of all, think about tolerance. You don’t have to tolerate something that’s right and natural. So, why do we have to “tolerate” everything?
Second, all you have to do is start a religious conversation with the “tolerant” crowd to see how INTOLERANT they actually are. I’ve heard things said about God and about Christians, that if turned around on the views of the “tolerant” would be considered bigotry.
Christians believe in loving your neighbor and serving God by meeting the needs of those around them. We are taught not to discriminate for any reason. Well, that would be Christians that actually READ their bible instead of praying a little prayer and showing up for church once in a while just for a check mark. Christians who have just enough Christianity to get into heaven are the ones who give Christianity a bad name. There are so many people in America who call themselves “Christians” who are just not. It drives me crazy.
Ok, go ahead. Let me have it. I am just sick to death of these intolerant tolerant folks not tolerating the most tolerant religion in the world and calling CHRISTIANS the intolerant ones.
