I’ve heard of this thing called “marriage”. They tell me I’m married, but with the lines so obscured nowadays, I’m not sure what is defined as marriage.

It’s really bad that no one takes marriage seriously anymore. Does no one realize the advantages of a monogamous relationship? There is a reason that it is a sacred union, pleasing in the eyes of God. I think of a few reasons right off the top of my head that this type of relationship is good. Quite a few are for reasons of health.

That is not what I want to address today. I want to address the fact that the homosexual crowd, the liberal crowd, etc keep screaming that Christians are intolerant of them and that we are bigots and discriminate against them.

Oh yeah? Try this one on for size.

I posted a story about my going back to work recently and how excited I was to be doing so. Well, my employment lasted 2 days. Here’s why. When the corporate office recieved my paperwork on the second day of my employment, they realized that my wife works in the office. This was unacceptable to them. Oh, did I mention that this is a CHRISTIAN company? They even plaster scripture on the front doors of all their stores.

They decided to let me go even though my wife and I work in two totally different departments and would never see each other because of it. The funny thing is, most of the people there have either dated each other or are shacking up together or have various other relationships with one another.

So, what you are telling me is that even though marriage is one of the biggest things on the Christian agenda today, it is not acceptable to work together and be married but it is acceptable for us to work together and be divorced, dating, living together, siblings, gay lovers, etc? Marriage is the only relationship not acceptable in the workplace and everyone else are the ones being discriminated against. Please, that is such total crap.

Am I unjustified?
