Overcoming the world

Have you ever felt like as though you were fighting the world? Even worse, have you ever felt like the world was winning, and beating you down? I have. I’m sort of there now. Here is some encouragement for the moment:

“4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5: 4-5 ESV

So, have faith and take courage, because God is on His throne and Jesus IS the Son of God, and if you believe that, then you overcome the world! Praise God!!!
